Consistent and Quality Therapy

Residents in our rehabilitation programs typically receive an hour of therapy per day, though they can receive up to three hours per day depending on what is necessary, five days a week. Often, rehabilitation services are billed through Medicare, which will pay for the first 20 qualifying days, followed by 80% coverage of costs with a 20% copay, either from supplemental insurance, or out-of-pocket. The hours of therapy scheduled will be based on your physical needs as well as what Medicare approves you for.

Highly Trained Medical Staff

At Masonic Village at Burlington, our rehabilitation staff includes highly trained doctors and nurses, as well as therapists, dietitians, social workers, and activity coordinators. Often, those in rehabilitation need a specific diet while undergoing treatment or therapy. Our dietary kitchens can accommodate these needs, including vegan diets, gluten-free, and mechanical soft diets.

Doctors come on-site for both regular and specialty treatment, and are here throughout the week, though their office hours aren’t set. Nursing staff is available 24/7 for any urgent needs, daily medical care, and to ensure patient safety. Our staff are trained as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), able to take care of numerous facets of everyday needs, such as taking vital signs, providing baths and grooming, assisting with mobility, and more.

Flexible Scheduling and Treatment

The length of care and the amount of therapy received is based on your needs as well as by monitoring progress throughout treatment. There are options available if you need more rehabilitation than originally planned, and options if you end up needing less. If you run out of rehabilitation days that your insurance or Medicare will pay for, you can choose to pay privately, especially if it has been determined that you could benefit from extending your therapy and treatment.

For additional treatment without staying on-site, in the case that you either need to continue treatment or may not need as intensive, 24/7 care, you may consider home therapy or services through an outpatient therapy center. Continuing treatment options will be evaluated by our staff, and we’re here to work with you to find the best course of action to help you become healthy and happy.

Easy Transportation Options

We offer the ability to arrange transportation to and from outside doctor’s appointments if your family is unable to provide it and/or if you have mobility issues. Rehabilitation residents are free to leave the facilities for a leave of absence with their families, so long as they return for their necessary appointments and are maintaining their therapy and overnight stays as required. This allows you to enjoy time away with your family or friends and retain some of your day-to-day routine. However, we offer many services and even activities on-site, such as grooming and hair care, entertainment, classes, and other hobbies and social programs.
